This is a creamy, cool-down dressing that is perfect for those hot summer day salads. Try it in three different fresh flavors; chives, dill, or garlic.
Cool – Sour Cream Dressing
Ingredients:
1 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon chopped garlic, – or – 2 teaspoon chopped fresh chives or fresh dill
1/4 cup water
Sea salt to taste
Fresh ground pepper to taste
Prep: In a small bowl whisk all ingredients together. Chill at least 1 hour before serving. Eliminate the added water and serve as a dip for veggie sticks and chips (see garlic dip).
Your dressing would be lovely topping some fresh steamed new potatoes.
