This recipe is silly simple to prepare. It combines the sweet, aromatic flavors of teriyaki sauce and garlic with the zingy but mellow roasted jalapeno peppers delicately balanced with the richly, marbled, smoke infused beef short ribs. These are absolutely amazing. Impress your guests by serving your ribs smoking on the plank – caveman style!
Planked – Roasted Jalapeno and Teriyaki Short Ribs
1 lb. boneless beef short ribs
1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
1/4 cup sliced jalapeno peppers
2 cloves chopped garlic
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1 1o-12 in. soaked grilling plank
Prep: Place ribs in a sealable plastic bag or container with teriyaki sauce, sliced jalapeno peppers, chopped garlic, sea salt, and pepper. Seal and shake to mix well. Place in refridgerator for 2-6 hours. Remove and follow Baby Step 20: Learn to Plank Your Meal .
