The dog days of summer in Colorado have passed. The evenings and early mornings these past two weeks have been cool and crisp. Leaves are beginning to turn Autumn colors while our pond koi are beginning their winter dormancy.                               This Thursday, September, 22nd  is the last day of summer.

Where we live the countdown to the first hard frost is on  –                                                               less than thirty days!
