Baby Step 61: Stay Positive by Being Grateful

The World can be an overload of negativity. Listening to, reading and watching news reports, or viewing social media threads can be a big downer. On a smaller scale –  daily events such as an unexpected bill, a vehicle breakdown, a missing tool can escalate stress and develop a negative attitude.

The key to living a healthy life is to overthrow negative feelings by replacing them with a dose of positive influence. Being grateful for the positive things  in your life can easily change a bad day into a great day. Project positive thoughts to overcome and snuff out a negative attitude.

Take a few moments and reflect on the positive things in your daily life that you are thankful for.



This is my Daily meditation to a great day:

“I am grateful for this amazing day…  my wonderful family and friends, our health and wealth  … our house and the yard we created for all our wildlife  friends.

 I am grateful for my job, the people I work with and the successes we share together.

I am grateful for the skill sets, problem solving and creativity contained within my mind.

I am grateful for the quality time I have to interact with family and friends and time I spend on hobbies and projects.

I am grateful knowing that sharing a positive attitude and smile to every one I meet can assist in making their day great as well.   

I am grateful for the positive things bestowed upon me today and am thankful to have the opportunities to embrace them.”

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
