Snow in Castle Rock, CO – October 8th

Well the other night we were expecting our first frost in Castle Rock, CO. What did we wake up to the next morning? – Six inches of fresh wet, white snow and a temperature of 30 degrees. Luckily – We were prepared and our plants survived – so far!

Turning harsh into precious.

Our seven-year old woke up with a completely   different attitude –

SNOW – YEAH – SNOW  !!

She had on her snow suit, snowboots and goggles in no time.

She knows that snow princesses do not last very long in October.

And she was correct. Less than 24 hours and one snow princess later ……
