HD Recipe: Sauerkraut – Fresh Fermented in a Jar

Do you love the taste of fresh, crispy, fermented sauerkraut? Here is a method to make delicious kraut; one jar at a time. It ferments directly in a canning jar. This process takes up minimal space and practically eliminates all of the odors.

Our family loves kraut and have eaten many jars using this easy recipe.

Variations to this recipe include:

Add 1 clove chopped garlic and 1 teaspoon ground paprika to chopped cabbage.

– or –

Add 1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds to chopped cabbage.
