Dehydration is a quick and easy, healthy, long-term storage alternative for processing part of your fruit and vegetable harvest.
Removing all the moisture increases a stable shelf life of a year or more and dramatically decreases the space needed for storage. Snack on healthy unprocessed fruit chips and reconstitute veggies with water for casseroles, soups and stews. Dry flowers and herbs for later use.
